    JUST FOLLOW THE HAPPY CARINS IN COLORFUL COLORADO⛰️🏔️🏞️

    • @On2Feet
      @On2Feet День назад

      absolutely.....when they are there of course, and appear to follow the published route. Near the summit, following the green wall, cairns effectively disappeared or were not clearly followable. I've found a few places where there were multiple sets of cairns too...that led to different approaches (sometimes different from the published routes). But yes, I always try to follow the cairns if they are present.

    Hi! I love my CRF300L, but what drives me crazy is the wind noise after 55-60 mph. I have a Bell MX-9, which is a pretty noisy helmet. I would appreciate it if you could comment on whether a windshield helped with the noise. Otherwise, great videos! Just a quick note: the videos from the garage are a bit dark, so you might want to consider improving the lighting. Thanks!

    The instructions page you show at 0:53 shows a picture of different motorcycle (probably the old honda trail bikes.) Did you accidentally use the wrong manual, or did Honda show an old picture out of nostalgia? The procedure described there is also a bit different than other videos Ive seen.

    • @On2Feet
      @On2Feet 2 дня назад

      I bought the manual for a CT125 from Helm Inc. (www.helminc.com/helm/product2.asp?class_2=AHC&Sku=61K2E50&itemtype=N) and it seemed right. All the other pictures in the guide were of my bike so not sure here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Perhaps they just used a picture in the guide for a Super Cub since it's the same engine and same adjustment? Again, not sure, but I know the adjustment worked in my case.

    • @On2Feet

    I don't know if it's just my age, but really appreciate the challenges and risks with the trails you are taking on these mountains, narrow trails with steep downsides all around and plenty of loose rocks.. Pretty sketchy paths from what I'm seeing and I'm not the smartest guy in the woods.. Really appreciate the videos along. the way and from the top of these mountains, but stay safe out there!

    I recently did a 3,900 mile ride on my Himalayan but I did it over 19 days. Rode 65-70 mostly on state highways. It will do interstates but not fun on those. Averaged 59 mpg. No issues.

    My bikes in the US are perfect for my performance riding. I bought the Rally in the Philippines because it was on the showroom floor and I knew either one would be hard to find. I always modify my bikes and this one will be no different. My 500 in the US is more than 100 lbs. lighter and double the power. I’ll be able to add 35% more power and drop the weight by 35 lbs. With the added reliability over my KTM’s, the CRF will be perfect overseas.

    Hi there thanks. I have a 125cc semi auto. The issue is prior to the bike being on I find it hard to get into neutral once i do find neutral it's good the bike moves freely forward. If i movie it up 1 gear then try and go back down back to neutreal I cant seem to find neutreal i sometimes have to play around going down up down till the bike moves freely forward. this is all while the bike is off. Will this clutch adjustment be the solution thanks

      Ahh right, I forgot about the hostel comments. My bigger issue was I needed to leave at like 4:00 am to reach trailheads and was worried I’d sleep through a quiet alarm but wake everyone up with a loud alarm. Plus snoring just irritates me to no end and earplugs are never enough. Definitely worth the extra few bucks. In the end I could still hear people snoring through the walls so it still wasn’t perfect. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    compared to my royal enfield hunter 350, I had to adjust exhaust and intake valves at initial break in service. Very very tight valves! Bike ran much better afterwards but I am sometimes considering trading it in for the trail 125 as my city / trail bike! Also, not having to remove the fuel tank on these 125s is such a huge cut on labor time !!!

      Sadly, it wouldn't have mattered even if I did. There are thousands of rez dogs that roam everywhere on Navajo Nation. Every gas station you stop at will have like 5 or 6 stray dogs coming up to you while you fuel up. Buffalo Pass is very far from any towns, and even if I called the Nation police...no one would have come. It is a sad reality of life near four corners.
